Throughout the day on Saturday, between events or during breaks, in an effort to pamper each IBC sister, Savannah Barrett will be offering complimentary hydrating lip treatments utilizing the Hydrafacial device, which works to deeply nourish, exfoliate, and restore dull, dehydrated lips and leaves them with a glowing, refreshed, and youthful look. It is a 5 minute experience and ideal for any skin types! (The only considerations are those highly prone to cold sores, and the recommendation is they take an oral prophylactic 48 hours prior to the service and will be fine).
Sunday, October 2
Sunday Oct 2, 2022 is the annual Jimmy Walk. The Jimmy Walk is an event to support patient services and research at Dana Farber. This year, the walk happens to land on the weekend of our Ultimate IBC Meet UP, so to show support for our IBC sisters in treatment at Dana Farber, we would like to encourage you to join in. The following is the link to the main page for the Jimmy Walk for Team IBC:
If you wish to participate, you can sign up and walk virtually anywhere, or you can join Terry Arnold at the Nashville event to walk a short route near the hotel. If you do not wish to walk, you can join in by making your own fundraising page under the Team IBC or donate to Terry’s page or one of the teammate’s pages to support the IBC research at Dana Farber.
There will be plenty of other opportunities to connect with each other while on-site. From mixers and group activities (introvert and extrovert friendly) this event will be filled with moments of connection.
Registration is closed for the lab tour and Friday dinner. If you wish to join us for Saturday, we still have some room.
